1st International TargetSprint - Competition in Switzerland

The Swiss Shooting Sport Federation will organise the first Target Sprint competition at international level on 13 - 15 May 2021.

With the Target Sprint, the International Shooting Sport Federation (ISSF) is pursuing a clear goal: the combination of air rifle shooting and middle-distance running is intended to attract new interested parties to the shooting sport.

Last but not least, the Target Sprint is an exciting competition format that is understandable for shooting sports laymen and that is held directly with the people at the "Allmend" athletics facility in Lucerne.

TESTIMONIALS

 Peter Gilgen / Coach

I am fascinated by the fact that Target Sprint is, from my point of view, an absolute crowd and participant magnet. Children want movement, concentration and fun - all of this is combined in Target Sprint. Team and individual competitions encourage the ambition of the athletes and children. They are immediately fascinated when it comes to shooting and concentrate accordingly. Target Sprint offers an ideal introduction to shooting sports and is simply an investment in the future for shooting clubs.
